The ideas is that decagon should be responsible for serving files to the other systems through iSCSI or NFS. As paragon is my main server running both my blog, gallery, mail service and so on it should not be interrupted from doing it’s job in the same way that the lab machines (hexagon & octagon) could be. By running VMware ESX I have the possibility to migrate virtual machines to it if necessary when playing around with High Availability and dynamic data center resource allocation.

The attached picture is a screenshot of my current VMware setup.
