VMware ESXi available

As said earlier, VMware is releasing ESXi for free starting today. The CD image is available from VMWare’s page. This is a great offer from VMware :-D

Hi,

I have a dell r200 server with ESX server running.

But I have tried to install the ESXi update 2 … but when .iso transfer the image to disk, I have the error to 40% of copy: failed to write disk…bad sector or hardware problem…. and stop.
error code: DM15D3J

The server is new …. and with ESX work fine.

:-((

Have you a suggestions ?

best regards
antonello

I have heard of another one with a similar problem. I installed 3.5U1 on my R200′s. I will try 3.5U2 as soon as I’m done testing MS Hyper-V :-)
